New Member. Hello from Grove City, Ohio...
Good morning..
My name is Dianna. I am a new member here. I have been riding my 2005 883L off & on since I found her, still in the crate in July 2004. Over the past 12 years, I haven't had a lot of time on the road... I had way too many commitments / responsibilities.. outside of my full time job, starting with My daughter; She was a Jr in HS when I brought her home. So that wasn't too bad. Her Sr. kept me busy. During her Sr yr, we moved twice.. once at the beginning of building my house and again at the end when it was complete. With that came all those wonderful new home owner responsibilities.... I was heavily involved in my church.. prison ministry, biker ministry, My own Military Outreach Program, etc.. My daughter graduated HS & joined the Marines.. I then followed her around throughout her career, during that time I became a Grandma.. So as you can see, riding became back burner for many years. Although I was involved with the Biker Ministry at church, it wasn't a priority for me until about 3 years ago. I decided to sell my house & make a lot of changes in my life. This included RIDING! Last year was MY YEAR to ride. I joined a local Women's RC., unfortunately, that didn't last long, but it did get me out more. Then in Aug. of last year, I was involved in a bit of a hiccup..... Preparing for a ride with a group of ladies... one of which decided to get off her bike before us heading out & FORGOT to put her kickstand down.. Needless to say, there was a domino effect.. I was out of commission for 9 months. Thanks to my BF, I have a completely differently looking bike now. Instead of allowing the dealership to do the repairs & cost me a lot in labor.. We did it all ourselves & I now have a custom paint, in addition to so many other changes. My 1st ride out this year was on International Female Ride Day (05/07). We literally just finished the last addition the night before... I'm pretty excited about sharing her new look with everyone & getting some serious wind therapy this year.
Hope you all have a wonderfully blessed day!
Stay safe & Enjoy your ride!
