Hi Guys, I'm a first time owner of a Harley 'style' twin as I have been the proud owner of a Big Dog Motorcycle 'Mastiff' this last month. I've learned a great deal from forums such yours - in fact they've been invaluable, so I thought it just I join in the off chance someone is where I'm at, or have been, and I'm in a position to afford advice or my experiences may assist which has been the case for me on so many occasions.
Briefly, my bike is a 2003 Mastiff with a S&S 124". from there it gets strange as Big Dig assembled all engines themselves with parts from S&S; the Eng. No. on my bike dates it as a 1984 with a 4.125" bore and 8.25" flywheel; the flywheel is consistent date-wise and the stroke is 4.625" and the flywheel diameter is the same 8.125".
I attached a picture.
Anyway, I hope to get to know and continue to learn from all of you guys and where possible engage in discussions if I feel I won't embarrass myself.
