Hello from Iowa
I'm from West Virginia, but I live in Iowa now. Can't say I'm thrilled about it, but I've been here about eight years now.
I had a 2014 Road King until August 7, 2016. On that day, I had ridden it from Iowa to West Virginia. I was about 100 yards from my parents house when I was hit by a car, totaling my bike. I've been without a bike since. The insurance paid for it just fine, but I was diagnosed with cancer in September, had surgery in February, and just recently got to the point where I couldn't stand being without a bike again.
About a month ago, I ordered another Road King from my local dealership. Now, I'm playing the waiting game and it's killing me. My new Road King--hot rod red flake--has a shipping date of May 22 right now. Dealership is saying I'll get it sometime in June. So here I am, waiting.
I'm a single dad of 15-year-old twin boys. I've tried to attach a picture of one of my sons sitting on my 2014 Road King, may she rest in peace.

Welcome. Iowa isn't so bad, living here for 40 years and drive my Heritage on the country roads... best time to ride is when the corn is tall !

I think it's just the weather that's got me down on IA right now. I'm getting tired of this cold rain!
