Hey Brothers and Sisters...Just joined up and want to introduce myself. Name Is Tony S. from Davie Fl, about 10 miles in from Fort Lauderdale where riding season is all year long. Ride a 2003 Sportster XL 1200 Sport Anniversary Edition and she serves me well. Do 90% of work and maintenance since the last dude that worked on my bike forgot the rear axel cotter pin and didn't tighten down the shock bolt. ( My local Harley dealer don't work on Harley's older than 2005...go figure) P.O.'ed I was. I am mechanically inclined, did work on all my old Chevy's so I bought a SM for my model and had at it. Right now lots of you are agreeing. It's also fun and rewarding when you DIY. Do run into a snag or two sometimes so I joined to pick the brains and offer my experiences to those who ask.
