New poster from New York
Hey guys. I joined almost 2 years ago but this is my first post, I’ve been lurking/reading threads mainly on the M8 & CVO boards.
I’m 51 yrs old, raced dirt as a kid, started riding street 33 years ago. I’ve had the privilege to own quite a few great sport bikes & numerous, awesome Harley’s over the years.
Currently own:
1993 Softail Nostalgia - FLSTN Original “Moo-glide” (bought new 25 years ago). A lot of cosmetic & Performance parts but haven’t added anything to the bike since late 90’s
2004 CVO Electra Glide - 100% stock (bought new 14 yrs ago).
2015 Kawasaki Ninja H2 - Brock’s/Guhl ECU reflash, Vandemon full Ti exhaust, PCV w/ street & MR12 track maps & a bunch of other go-fast parts. 255 rwhp/ 114 ft/lbs on pump -SAE.
2016 CVO Street Glide. - TechnoResearch tune, Fullsac pipe, Rinehart’s. Dyno tuned by Rosas Performance.
My wife & I have been on a lot of great rides over the years, some favorites are the PCH - L.A. to Muir Woods & back. From NY to Key West. Also love heading North to Maine, CT. MA. South/West to Virginia & West Virginia.
I’m V.P. of a New York MC so also hit 30-40 motorcycle and MC events a year. Also love the circuit & standing mile tracks on my supercharged beastie.
Probably going to purchase a M8 CVO SG but patiently waiting & following developments for now as I’m very happy w/ my 16 CVO SG, hoping for a murdered out CVO SG for 2019.
Anyway, I’ve read through dozens of threads since joining, at least one was 100+ pages, seems like there are tons of knowledgeable posters here & I’ve learned a lot so hope to contribute too.
