Default first harley

Hey guys, just recently picked up a nice little project to tinker on (93 fxr) thought this would be a great resource of information and tips anytime along the way. I am currently trying to "modernize" the bike to newer tech and will be posting pics of my progress along the way. the bikes current setup is with apes and forward controls and rusted spokes. I plan on changing a lot as far as looks to the bike and make it my own.

so far parts i still need are:
fxr mid controls.
8 or 10" tbars (havent decided yet)
brown diamond saddlemen or unknown seat since from what i have researched is the same seat. lol
recommendations on new tires for the mags i recently purchased.

and any other modifications or tips would be welcomed.
anyways thanks for reading.

Welcome from Michigan twice now. How's it run? Pretty is nice but how is it mechanically? That would be my first modernization, make it mechanically sound then move on.
