Default New Owner from Japan, Part III

Hi fellow riders, looking forward to learning and sharing all about Harleys. Just purchased a '13 Street Bob and totally loving it. I've ridden 883 and 1200 Sportsters in the past, so even though this is my 3rd Harley it's my first Big Twin. After not riding for 10 years, I decided I couldn't wait any longer. Already changed the pipes, air intake, computer, handle bars, and seats. Hoping to slowly customize more. I'm going for the "Dark" look, not the super shiny chrome look. Anyhow, hope you guys go easy on me and looking forward to riding again! BTW, I live in Tokyo now for work.

Hey Tom. Welcome to the forum. I lived in Tokyo for a long time and rode in Tokyo traffic every day. I wish I could have stayed. Tokyo is a great place to live (I lived in the Izumi Garden Residence close to the ANA hotel.)

There are a lot of great custom Harleys in Tokyo. If you get a chance, stop by the custom shop in Azabu Juban. The guy does incredible work.

Hey thanks for all the warm welcomes! Nice to know there's a worldwide Harley brotherhood (or sisterhood).

Hi SLV, you ride a FXDB too? Talk about small world. I live near that area and am in Azabu Juban area all the time. Is the shop you're talking about called Sundance?

I don't remember the shop name, but it's on Rt 1 really close to the Dominos Pizza place.
