Default Gearing change on the Rushmore bikes???

I had been wondering abut something and confirmed it today. There seems to be a gearing change on the Rushmore bikes. At least on the '15s. On my '15 I am hitting 3000 RPM at around 64mph. On a buddies 2012 you don't hit 3k until around 70. Which is what I remember on my 2013 RGU. Would there be any way to get that back on the '15 such as a sprocket change??? I don't like having to feel like I need to shift to 6th below 70 because the way traffic is around here I find myself bouncing between 5th and 6th constantly. I would rather be shifting into 6th on long stretches of open slab.

I assume you are hitting 3k at that speed in 5th gear? 6th gear should give you 80 MPH

Sounds like he's using 6th gear as an overdrive, and only occasionally. Your 103 has plenty of torque for highway speeds in top gear, no need to downshift.

Now that I think about it, 5th gear at around 64 is about 27-2800 maybe, and I don't hit 3K in 5th until just under or at 70. Maybe the OP is on to something. 6th at 3k is for sure 80 on mine though.

Sorry should have been more specific. I meant I hit 3k at around 63-64 in fifth gear. On my '13 and my buddies '12 you don't hit 3k in 5th until around 70. It is similar to the gearing when the 6 speeds first came out.

I don't know about all you guys, but at 60-65 in 6th gear I have plenty of pep , no need to downshift. My opinion
