Default Tips to change clutch and brake levers?

Are there any tips or tricks to change the clutch and brake levers on a 14 SGS? The instructions weren't any help and the only thing I was told was to be careful of the microswitch. It looks easy enough but just want to make sure.

I have never damaged a switch,But service manual says to keep brake lever from hitting switch during lever removal.I have used cardboard, but I found that a wire tie, locking end is the perfect size.Clutch lever is easy after you slacken clutch cable.

Just remove the snap ring from the pins that go through the lever and carefully remove and replace the levers. Easy enough!!

The left Hydraulic clutch lever is easy. Remove the clip and pivot pin, slide the lever off, and the new one on.

There is a cup on the end of the brake lever that will not allow the lever to just slip off. I had to loosen the switch housing and remove the lever bracket along with clip and pivot pin to get the lever off.

Here's a pic showing the cup.

How does one go about slacking the clutch cable on a hydraulic clutch?
