Default Brake pad recommendation

Anyone have a brake pad recommendation Lyndall, EBC or others. The oem pads have had good stopping power but considering aftermarket pads as well.

If OEM pads have good braking power then why notb stay with the known versus the unknown?

I've used Lyndall Gold pads on all previous bikes & when the time comes Ill put them on my 14 SGS. For me the Lyndall's stop better & just have a better lever feel to them than the OEMs do.

Opinions will vary on this subject.

I really like the Brembo brakes on our bikes and plan to stay with the stock pads when it's time to replace them.

In my opinion, the brakes on the 2009 and newer bikes are better than those I had on my Goldwings. That said, HD still needs to improve their ABS as it still feels like a 1st. gen compared to Honda and BMW.

I've tried Lyndall on a 14RK and 13UC and in both cases, I switched them out to the OEM. I loved that they were clean and didn't produce near the dust but the feel and they were noisy made it easy to go back.

I actually have one pair (7254 Z Plus), not even used, sitting on a shelf somewhere. I'll be more than happy to send the set to you for $25 if you pay shipping. I think I put some of the anti noise goop on the back of them....

Had squeaky brakes on my '10 RK, rather then messing with it I just changed them out to EBC's sinister, no more problem next 25k miles. They worked well and had very little brake dust. No problem with the brakes on my '14 SGS, they work great and love the ABS; didn't think I world.

Thanks for the input guys. My brother gave me some EBC pads awhile back, but the closer it gets to replacing the stock pads the less I like the idea. Iv got nothing but good to say about the brake system up to this point and think ill stay with the Harley pads.

Lyndall Gold on all of my previous Harley's. Like others had said, "minimal dust and great performance".
