Default BRP end of April

I'm heading up to Maggie Valley to ride the BRP and Dragon at the end of April. I'm going to trailer my bike to Maggie Valley. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can park my truck and trailer for a few days? I've heard that the HD dealer in Cherokee will sometimes let us do that, but haven't verified that with them.

Appreciate suggestions.

Depends on where ya stay at. When I go to maggie valley in june we stay at Creekside lodge. Carol has a parking spot in between the gas station and hotel. Great place to stay and will within riding distance of both your destinations. Cherokee is a small dealership and I dont see then having room for trailers there if its the one Im thinking about. Its only a t shirt and oil kind of dealership. No bikes or room.

Most of the Motels in the Valley will have a place for your truck and trailer.
Don't miss the Wheels through time museum. Been going there 2 or 3 times a year for the last 15 year. I don't think I would leave my tricycle
in Cherokee. You might want to check out 209 over to Hot Springs another good road.

I have ridden 209 through the Hot Springs National Park and agree that it's a great road. I will check out Wheels Through Time.

If anyone has stayed in Robbinsville and could fill me in on the motel situation, I'd appreciate it.

We stay in Maggie Valley proper at the Best Western. Great people, box of towels to clean the bike and plenty of room. Oh yeah...and HD ride rewards points too with Best Western. We are riding the BRP from VA down to Cherokee and staying in Robbinsville at a relatives house this trip

F.Y.I.: There's a bike rally in Maggie Valley the weekend of May 1st - 3rd. You said end of April, so I thought you should know.

Thanks for the info. That could be good or bad depending on how I look at it. Lots of cool folks, but maybe no hotel rooms.
