I've been waiting a couple of weeks for a left-side switch pack that is on back-order. That particular problem was for a faulty display trigger that the dealership has agreed to fix under warranty.

This is new. I looked down to check my speed, and noticed that the speedo, display, and idiot lights are all out. Turn signals don't work.

I pulled into a parking lot, and learn that the kill switch won't kill the motor. Ignition switch kills it just fine.

After checking all the fuses, I'm left scratching my head.

Meanwhile, at least the parking lot belongs to an Irish pub, where I can enjoy a few Harps while I wait for the tow truck.

It could be worse.

Have you done bars recently? I'd also check under your fairing where the left and rights plug in to the connector.

 

Those connectors are in the headlight nacelle, and I'm not taking that apart in a bar parking lot.

It looks like a dead speedo. I'll know more tomorrow.
