Default German style helmet

Anyone have the German style helmet? Looking for the lowest in height DOT helmet. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I have a fly German helmet. I'm 5' 10" with a tall torso, with the stock windshield it catches the wind and beats me round pretty good.
I like the look but can't stand the buffeting.

The chrome ones are, well I can't say it ether...

Look at the AK88 helmets there low, measure your head like they recommend.

Wear an OLD Prussian cavalry Pickelhaube like this. Made from horsehide.

Strange thing about it is how it stays snug on your head even at speed. Never gets moved around by wind.

Yes it always gets attention. Especially from women. They all want to have their picture taken wearing it.

Got the idea from Robert Williams. He owns rooms full of old helmets.

Robert's pan

I've never known anyone wearing a German helmet that could ride their way out of a two ended bag. So it stands to reason that someone drawn to a German style helmet should probably get a full face model as well as a jacket with armor

Wow. bad news for the german hat wearing closet ****'s that obviously cant ride. I had NO IDEA that wearing certain helmets was so badly frowned upon.

Wow....Some of you whiners have turned this into a political forum.

The op was just asking about a German style helmet.

Leave him alone if you can't post without spewing your political opinion.

I have never seen a german type helmet that was rated. Doesn't mean they don't exists, I just haven't seen one. The Akoury 88 and AK-1 are probably the lowest profile DOT's out there. I think someone else markets the same helmet, not sure who it is though.

Here you go, bud. Btw, I'm of German heritage. It's your head, wear what you want.
