Default pre-trip Check List

Getting ready for a trip. I've gone thru the T-CLOCS checklist.
http://www.msf-usa.org/downloads/T-C..._Checklist.pdf

Now I'm trying to remember some of the problems related to Rushmores that I've read here and should add to the list to double check. Both Bikes have less than 5K and I did the 1K on the wife's bike and went over the list on my bike, the 1K was done at a dealer before I bought it.

Things that come to mind are :

Shifter Levers falling off
Shift Rods falling off
Tour Pak Bolts loose
The ever puzzling runaway saddle bag, I think I saw one on a milk carton yesterday.
Coolant is part of t-clocs
I torqued the exhaust flanges again
Both have good tunes PV2 and Ipod

Appreciate any thoughts.

We've been to Kaslo before and it's just a great place to ride and not very busy. Check it out on google earth, amazing scenery. Many of the lakes have ferries to cross over. From Butte to Yellowstone we will go through Red Lodge MT so we can ride the Bear Tooth Highway again.

Excellent idea. Have just done a refresher in preparation for an upcoming road trip.

The Beartooth Trail to Red Lodge is spectacular. Did a trip from MN to Yellowstone 2 yrs ago in July and experienced 90 degrees and snow (11k ft elevation) within the same hour. Safe travels!

Screws for boot sole repair, no matter how old or new, no matter what brand or the cost I have seen it happen to many times, the sole is flapping in the wind.

Few tools, bungee cords, some zip ties and duct tape just in case "have it don't need it is good thing" then other way around. You are living in a very beautiful state passing thru in couple weeks via Yellowstone and Bear tooth hwy to Sturgis. Then again end of Sept. visiting Bryce , Zion ,Arches NP, to Monument Valley and Grand Canyon then home.
