I'm trying to figure out how you spent 32k for your Limited.

Dealer offered me 21.5k on a trade for mine.

I want to sell you new bikes and take your trades as well.

I get it that Harleys don't hold value like they use to. I guess if you overpay when you buy them, it's tough to recover

We are not accurate when we compare "out the door" price of a new bike... to the value of a used bike.

We have to compare the purchase price OF THE BIKE ONLY... if we are going to be accurate about value depreciation.

When I recently purchased my new Limited I briefly considered a new CVO instead. Was getting a great deal on my 2010 trade in anyhow. However, in the end I realized even as a CVO I'd want to change too many things and it wasn't worth it. On my second Limited and I still believe this to be e best "bargain" in the touring class. YMMV

$70k+ for a 4x4 diesel truck.
$70K for a Dodge Hellcat
$30K for a sparkly bass boat.
$30-100K+ for a camper or motorhome.
$12k for a side by side UTV
$500k+ for a 4000sq/ft house

I don't own any of these, I also don't own anyone anything, I have a wife that's happy, kids are gone.

I own a $40k motorcycle.

Get over it.........

Exactly. Life is short. Buy what you want and don't diss those that don't think like you do.
