air wing luggage rack led install

air wing luggage rack led install
i'm going to buy a tour-pak rack light kit (p/n 68000112) to install on the luggage rack i just bought for my '14 streetglide special. i recently purchased the king tour pack and a detachable mount for it. the installation instructions seem pretty straight forward but the one concern i have is where the wiring exits the body of the tour-pak. step #13 says to remove the grommet from ,what appears to be the front of the tour-pak. there is no grommet currently on the pak. does that mean i need to drill a hold for the new grommet? on the bottom of the new pak there is what i'll call or what looks like a "knckout". looks like about a 3/4" circle "PARTIALLY STARTED" at the pak bottom. hopefully, i attached the install sheet so any advice would be appreciated.
thanks.

I'd say it has to be drilled.
Buy a black air wing, I'll swap you straight up for a chrome one with the LED in it already.
Couple of marks from my flag mount for PGR missions, but otherwise excellent....
I've got the LED tail light, and CD FillerZ, can't really see the air wing light on mine.

The airwing light kit comes with the grommet. You will also need to splice in a wire harness from under the seat to the TP, then buy the wire harness from inside the TP of an ultra or limited.
I dont have the part numbers handy right now, and still need to finish the project myself. that will happen in September.

No holes in it except for the back rest and hinges that are already attached. I didn't notice a "marked" area for the hole to be drilled, but I didn't look too hard yet.
