At slow speeds when I hit a bump there is a rattle or clunking noise that comes from the front of the bike. Sure it also happens at speed but I can not hear it. I have taken the fairing and the fairing vent off of the bike and rode and its still there. Can not find anything that's loose. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

 

Check the button on the gas cap cover. Mine rattles like hell. I'm going to replace it with one that locks.

 

same noise here , mines not gas cap area , but is in front area and same thing , slow speed bumps dealer hasn't heard it any time i have been in there

 

Mine was a loose steering head (I think that's what teh mechanic said) nut - they tightened it no more thunking.

Check if the rubber grommets are still in place for the lower cowling in front of your water pump. Should be underneath your front frame.

 

Check the "Limited" badge on the front fender. My wife and I both have 2015 Road Kings, her bike had a rattle that drove me crazy every time I would ride it. I was looking around the front one day and my hand grazed the fender badge and made it rattle. It was not going to fall out (still had the retainers on it), but it was loose. I checked the ones on my bike and the one on the other side of her bike and they were all solid. Once that was secured, no more rattle. Just something simple and easy to check.
