UP-DATE

Got My FP-3 back in my bike, went very well. ( Big thank you to V&H for your help} All I have is the map V&H recommends. I put on about 60 miles on her today, tomorrow will be all day. Idling is a bit smoother, if I lost any mid range it would be very little. I was really happy I got my top end back. I know that is something I really don't use, but it feels so good to know it can pull even in 6th gear on top end. going to be hot as hell here in Michigan this coming week so I will wait till next weekend to auto-tune. I want to set up the speedo recalibration, I got to look it up to see how to do it. I do feel for my dyno turner guy, he has a good reputation, he tried very hard to get more power out of my bike then my auto tuned FP-3 map. I could tell he was frustrated, he is a good tuner and a good person. He did say he would had liked to spent a hole day on my bike, but I'm not made of money. I'm very happy to have the FP-3 back in my bike. I will up-date after I do the auto tune.

When I had my 2014 Sportster I put a FP3 on it. The FP3 really seemed to wake the bike up. I've got an M8 in a Road King now so I think I'll wait till the warranty's up and then purchase one for it. Good Luck with your tuner.

I started my Auto-Tune last night. Put on about 60 miles seems to be working very well. I got quite a lot of green when I got home I hit apply the screen went blank I know this is normal. I'm still in the Auto-Tune mode. I did mostly 50 + 60 mile per hour runs web varying RPMs. To me my bike felt a little stronger my idol seems to have smooth out. If no rain tonight I'm going back out for another session in town. So far so good..

I did the self tune on my FP3 and for whatever reason, maybe I didn't let it fill up enough squares, when I started the bike, it didn't run right.
So I went back to the tune for the pipes and intake I have and I am satisfied with it.
Of course I am not out for lots of horsepower, just a smooth accelerating, nice sounding bike.

^^ I think while auto tuning, the bike is learning, and will run a little off, but once done and flashed, it will be fine,

I was unhappy with stock and, after getting cvo slipons, I bought a FP3. I ran autotune for a couple days and flashed it. The results were amazing. For me it was night and day in terms of performance.

This was the best thing I've done to my '14 limited.

OP here.

I finally got my auto tune done yesterday. Drove about 25 miles home and it has never ran better. I have all my top end back, mid range pull feels the same as what the dyno tuning did. Power band feels strong at all rpm, and I cant believe how much smoother the idle is, love it. Very happy.

I'm happy with my FP3. This is the second bike that I have used one with and both benefited immensely.
