Default Want to remove lower fairings with radiator

Is it possible to remove lower fairings with the radiator. Just bought a Screaming Eagle, I was told the bike could be run with no coolant. Change the heads, or plug the holes and disconnect the water pump? Way too hot down there for my liking.

Anything is possible I guess, but it would take far more that just plugging the holes that is for sure. I would say that changing the entire bike would the route to go.

'someone' told you you could run without coolant. so if you take 'someone's' advice and run without coolant and have a problem, who is going to cover the cost of repair? 'someone'? sure isn't going to be hd.

I would not run it without the coolant. That's asking for an exhaust valve to stick from overheating.

Surely you jest ... with some of the "stuff" that goes on around here I wouldn't doubt it. Let's see ... a $40,000.00 scooter (I'm guessing that it's a CVO ) and you're getting advice from "experts" on the internet regarding major changes in your investment ???

I seem to remember the coolant leaks when they came out , the MOCO said not to ride the bikes without coolant . So which would you listen to?
