2015 CVO rear brake vibration
I upgraded my 2014 Ultra Limited to a 2015 CVO Limited. My new bike has MUCH more vibration from the rear brake than my last bike.My dealer first said it was the abs and rear rotor and did a repair on both but it did not make a difference. If you shut down the engine and apply the rear brake at 40 mph it's fine but if the engine is running it has a lot vibration . Is there that much difference in the 110 motor that it is noticeable or do I have a motor mount problem ? It is not a brake problem because with the engine not running or reved up to a higher rpm it is very smooth. I am just looking to see if anyone else finds the same thing. Otherwise the bike is great.

How are you shutting the engine off, kill switch? Both the Kill switch and Ignition switch are inputs to the BCM. Does the ABS light come on? What I'm wondering is if shutting off the engine disables communication with ABS. If that's the case it might still be the ABS. did you Check for codes?
If it were me I would call the Tech line and ask for help.1 800 258 2464.
Good Luck

I checked it two ways. If I turn the ignition off and then back on it still has the same vibration. I had the same thought that you stated. Then if you give it throttle with the clutch in the vibration is gone.It seems to be worse between 25 to 40 mph.Just seem like the 110 motor shakes a lot more than my 103 in my Limited.

I'll attach some pages to the Elect. Diag. Manual and you can read a description of the system. Definitely call the Tech line and be ready to answer questions like:
When you feel the Vibration did the Brake pedal or Lever feel like it was pulsating?
Are there any Codes? Brake fluid levels are good.
The brakes are linked above 20 -25 mph so if you use the front brake does the it still vibrate?

I have the same issue. 2015 CVO Road Glide. I asked the shop to check at my second service and they said the rear pads were glazed so they cleaned them. It seemed to help a bit but it still does it, just not as bad. My gut tells me its engine vibration because the brake shudder and engine vibe are pretty much the same frequency.
The question still stands though, is this normal for the 110?
