Thanks for the comments. Today I'll get my antenna hopefully.
Very nice job! That was also one of my ?s ... whether or not you lose your air temp, oil pressure and EITMS screen, but guess not! I could care less about losing navigation since I never used it in/on any vehicle I've owned, but stupid as it sounds I like the oil press and air temp readout .... I always have that screen on after I get my favorite station on. What did all that set you back if you don't mind me asking and did you lose the use of the thumbsticks for the new set up?

I think around $350. I bought everything at Crutchfield. And if you buy a radio at the same time you buy the kit, you get the kit half off.

If you have the factory radio already, you won't lose any of that and everything will hook right up to your harness.

Default Metra harness

What did you plug the Metra Harness into for the LCD readout. I have a 14 FLHTP and just got the same install kit. I am lost as to where this is supposed to hook up. Thanks.

Cool, I was thinking about changing out the factory radio for an aftermarket but didn't want to lose the info display. So the search is on for a radio I like.

Default Police bike radio

Question, did you ever get the LCD module below the radio to work? If so what did you connect it to? I just picked up a 2015 FLHTP police bike that was unloved.

The LCD display will not display Air Temp or Oil Pressure. The police bike doesn't have a oil pressure sender or ambient air sensor. You could install these, but would be more work then its worth.IMO If I didn't go with the 4.3 radio route and did a aftermarket radio I would of ditched the bottom display option.

Or you could go with the Double DIN touchscreen solution.... Great for the FLHTP.

Thanks Hammerhead, I didn't see anything in the bikes wiring harness that would have allowed me to use the Metra harness Plug to pick up the LCD. Moving to Plan "B".

This was all done on my 2015 Police Glide. So I had no wiring harness to use. I ran power to the Battery, negative to the ground and Acc to yellow/black wire in main harness. Total cost was $340 from crutchfield. Took about 4 hours total from start to finish. I dropped the ground wire but, so I spent some time searching for it lol.

Test ride was done on I 64 at 80mph. I had no problems hearing it and it was clear. I haven't had any problem with a CD skipping. My only problem was I don't have a FM antenna yet. No one has one in stock so it's on the way. Everything from the kit worked perfectly.

do you have a picture of the wires tied into the main harness? Im wanting to install a radio into my bike and have no idea of how to do it.
