Default 2016 Dealer Demo Days

They had one near me today, I rode a lot of the new bikes and saw a lot of the new colors. I can honestly say, it makes me appreciate my 14 Limited in Charcoal Pearl/Vivid Black.

The most impressive and fun bike I rode, Softail Slim S. On the internet the pics don't do it justice. I typically don't like green and especially military green. This bike looks really good, the black out really sets it off. The bike handles great, and with the 110, is big fun to ride. Cruise control adds to its appeal as well. At $3600 over a standard Slim, I can see the value in the S model. You couldn't pull off that look, let alone the performance for anything close to that.

I rode the Slim S, Limited CVO, RGU CVO, RGS, Wide Glide, Street Glide, Street Bob, Breakout and Heritage.

None of them were Black and with exception to the Slim S, none of them looked great. The colors leave a lot to be desired. Even if the color looked ok, the graphics killed the overall look.
They had 2 different SG in the funkiest
colors. One was gold with flames, and the other was flaked with black and gold. Both looked like 70s and 80s bass boats. If Huggy Bear from Starsky and Hutch were to have had a Harley, these would have been them.

I was messing with my wife and told her I was buying the CVO limited at 40g. She said I was nuts and that the 15 grand difference could be spent on mine to make it whatever I wanted. Too which I replied thank you for the permission. Here is the ONE time it was easier to ask for permission rather than forgiveness.lol

Here's a pic of the CVO limited

My deposit on THAT exact model just took place yesterday ^^ - should arrive in the next month. That color even made my wife skip a beat and when that happens..it's hook, line, and sinker.

Traded my Limited for a 15 CVORGU. 10000+ miles later I could not be happier. Rides like nothing I've owned before. Rock solid on the hi way, only limitation is my ***. It gets tired after about 8-10hrs.

One important thing........the CVO is a full 100 pounds heavier than the Limited. Not noticeable until you want to push it somewhere order it leans a little too far over. Sucker is heavy.

Under power, the extra weight disappears.

Go test ride one and see what you think.

I sat on one. Holy crap. I think I pulled something hoisting it off the jiffy stand.

The best part? My RGS now feels like a Sporty compared to the CVO.

Yeah, even the RGU is heavy vs my U L. Trick is to turn the front wheel to the right when up righting off the jiffy stand.
