Default Police Seat

So I have an opportunity of getting a great deal on a complete Police seat set up

It is off of a 2012 FLHP and the question I have is will bolt on/fit on my '14 Road King

Thanks

In 2012 HD still used the air spring & air tank on the police seat. The 2014 uses an adjustable spring - no air lines or tank. You can check part numbers here:

It looks like the front bracket, the plastic frame cover (Fairing Police Seat) and the seat are the same part numbers. I THINK people have mentioned that the air spring can be replaced by the new adj. spring. Try a search, I know there are more threads about the solo / police seats. Good luck.

Update - got the set up from a member on Retired Police Bike and it was from a 2012 FLHP

Direct Install - everything lined up but i did not install the air bladder set up instead I installed a Large Kong and the ride comfort is FANTASTIC

Note that the Police seat does raise the seat level a bit so it may not be for everyone - but if you can deal with the higher seat height it is the most comfortable seat I have had on ANY bike own

Seat on Bike

Prefit check of Kong where the air shock (Coil shock) would go

Pinned in place

I just did 17 hrs. on mine yesterday. That seat, is by far, the most comfortable seat you can buy. You will definitely need a tall windshield now though.
