Does anyone have any experience with the Wheeldock Ez-Up center stand or the HD center stand? Are they worth the $300? If so, what are your experiences?

 

Absolute best thing I ever put on my 2014 RK. 10 minute install. Easy to put on the stand, fun to ride off. HD should look to include this product standard. Absolutely no interference on turns at all. Hole centered around the trans plug so no problem draining tranny.

Different strokes as they say...I had one for about a week and sold it here on the forum for $100.00

Be READY for the bike to tip over, because it will if the stand is not on it's two legs.
You can ride off it IF you have a NEW tire, an old worn out tire looses diameter and it is tougher to get off.

I personally can see why they are not factory equipment.

I would imagine you would only use it on perfectly level ground anyway right? I would never use it in areas I would would risk it tipping over? How worn tires are you talking about? I would have a different problem if I have a situation where I cannot get the bike off the stand because of worn out tires. I should not be riding it until I get new tires?

 

best use was storing in the garage for the winter,takes up less space. dont use facing even a slight downhill.

 

Actually, I had it about a month. It tipped 4 frigg'n times...in the GARAGE. It DOES get a bit of getting use to, at least for me. I didn't want to deal with it being so touchy.

Lemme' say this...I'm 6'3 215 lbs and rode most of my life. I've had two HD's , this one being the FLHTK. I also have over 100,000 miles of MOCO under my ***, so it's not my first rodeo.

I just didn't like it. If you want one, watch the classified here. One will turn up CHEAP.

 

Even though they say otherwise but ground clearance is affected especially in parking lots over the speed bumps .

 

And in running sweepers, mostly right hand...

 

I bought one from the classifieds and immediately put it back up for sale. You will lose about 1" of ground clearance. It is easy to get on the center stand but a pain in the *** to try and get it off without actually driving it off. I had to rock back and forth a lot to try and get the big pig off the center stand. IMO a scissor jack will be much more useful for the rare time you need the bike centered.
