Default the difference between an basic street glide and a street glide special motors

talking to a friend of mine and he said he talked to owner of a dealership about a new bike and was told that the special had bigger pistons and cams. told him he's full of it , and guy was just pushing the special on ya. can anyone confirm or deny this

They are the same 103 HO V-twins... Differences between the two bikes are ABS,adjustable rear shock, infotainment screen, security. That is all I can think of at the moment. Oh and pin stripe...

Same Motor.. He is getting a line of B.S. All the Rushmore 103 air cooled are the same with a new Cam (Very Close to the SE255 cam) and the water cooled difference is just that, Water cooled heads

Tell your friend to get on the moco's web site and look at the engine specs. They are the same.

From what I understand the Rushmore 103s have different cams than the older 103s, no difference between the SG and SGS.

i agree , he said he also seen it on harleys web site , unless the meathead is thinking about the limited with the watercooled heads

And we all know the pin stripes make the bike slower because of the added weight .......................................:icon_clapc lap:

This is actually true. My friend has the regular street glide and I have the special...every damn time we line em up I get whipped.

Well I got ripped off I was told they make the bike more aerodynamic.
