Default Rushmore Lower fairings, Factory or aftermarket?

Anyone here opt for lower fairings for their rushmore? did you go factory or aftermarket? I am thinking of a set but the factory ones are crazy money. what are good aftermarket ones that are of decent quality and comparable to factory ones.

Have you checked eBay for HD lowers? My buddy found a set on there that were even painted the right color for a little under $300.00.

I ordered a set last week from Hogworkz for my 15 denim black RGS. It's the same material Harley uses. I think the road glide looks better with them plus it'll give me more storage.

What color are you looking for?

Vivid black. I've heard about a company called mutazu and heard that their lowers are junk.

I did some looking and these guys seem to have a good product. Their customer service is very good also. Mine will be here Wednesday.

I did. I chose to go with Harley and got the speaker covers from them as well. More pricey, but the quality is sound. I could not find a good aftermarket set for my 14 FLHXS with consistently good reviews. Glad I went with Harley.

Please post how this works out. The roadglide isn't in the fitment chart?

I'll post some pics and my thoughts. Here is a write up on the RG installation.

All is good and well if you have black but any other color, HD is the only way to go. Buying aftermarket then buying paint (crazy cost), prep and having them sprayed just ain't worth it. Painted lowers purchased through Boadertracker cost me $559.
