Default Custom Dynamics questions

I have my Lava Rods "Installed" but not wired, decided to get the adapter for easy and neatness of install. I will be very interested in what I need for my rear lights on my RGS, do the 1.25" "Inserts" fit? Or what do I need to have brighter tail lights to go with my Lavas...?

Did you mean Plasma Rods and what is a 1.25 insert?

Yes Plasma Rods,, (Getting old, sorry) I see on their site that they have round LED clusters, which look like they would fit in our bullet turn signals. Just wondering if that's what those who have LED's in their stock housings, and didn't pay the big HD bucks for them are running? I know there are the "Ringz" which are nice, but if I just wanted brighter illumination back there to go with my Plasma's would these work? I see on the Custom Dynamics website that there are HD Turn-signals. (Their site is not the easiest to navigate IMHO) however what about these for much less? http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_led_bulbs.htm

Yes the clusters will fit and work, as far as the plasma rods you will need Plasma Rod Dual Converter (PDC) Converts 2 wire to 3 wire for running-brake applications it is down at the bottom on the plasma rod page, also installation instructions there.

And the clusters work as running brake and turn. The lens holds them in but they plug in like a regular bulb.

Yes, the clusters for the rear and the dynamic ringz/bullet ringz for the front.

As Berrygreen said, you will need two PDC, it looks like you probably have the eight inch plasmas with the standard bags so you would need two TFC3 to make run/break/turn.

You may want to check out the CD wiring harness MPR-BCM.

Yes their site is kinda confusing, if you click here http://www.customdynamics.com/harley...rn_signals.htm it will take you to the Harley page. About 2/3 of the way down there is a complete kit which includes the fronts and rears, its about $195 for both pairs. The taillights are super easy to install, remove old bulb, push back the black rubber gasket a little and install. Takes all of 5 minutes.

Here's mine with the tail inserts and Tri-bar.

Thanks all, I have the Converters already, was going to install, and decided to spend the 29.00 for the adapter plug, instead of cutting into my HD wiring, (not a lot of slack on that harness. It shipped a couple days ago, I'll get it wired soon as the plug comes in!
