Very much looking forward to picking up the new bike this Wednesday. One more step in achieving a total recovery.

And I promise not to bring along photos of my wooden *****; I will leave that story down on the pre-2014 touring forum!

My dealership called me today and said that the other dealership that they are getting my bike from, still does not have my bike. My dealership was working this on two different angles, 1) Trying to find a bike closer at another dealership, and 2) They changed one of their orders on their next shipment of bikes to one in the color that I want. Well, looks like I will be waiting for the ordered bike to get in, so hope fully now by the end of the month.
I wanted to start getting my current bike ready for trade and this last weekend was the only free weekend that I had to do it as this coming weekend I will be helping the sister dealership with the demo truck thats coming to town, so I'll be leading rides, or riding sweep... or just standing around with my finger in my nose.
The weekend after that is my annual jeep trip to Death Valley.. so this last weekend was the time to strip my bike.
I turned this bike... (Me taking a selfie at 80mph )
My bike on the lift and in process of being stripped down of everything that I have added
and turn it into a table that looked like this afterwards.
and the final result? An almost stock Street Glide
Gotta tell you.... it sucked riding into work today with the bike in the stock configuration. BUT, I do have to say, with the saddlebags mostly emptied out and all the extras off of the bike, it's feeling quite light weight, nimble and spunky!
