Where do you mount your GPS on a Road King
I'm just curious as to where is the best place to mount a GPS (or phone) on a new Road King. I will be using a RAM mount. I had my GPS on my Ultra near my clutch lever, but think lower on the handle bar may be better.
Pictures if you have some.
Thanks.

No pics but I have a RAM mount that just goes to the bottom threaded portion of the mirror. Just take the acorn nut off, slide on the RAM mount and reinstall nut. Very out of the way for when you are not using the GPS and want a cleaner look. I think it is the angled one I have:

I just lick the cup and mount it to the speedo. Right in the middle and out of the way. I use the GPS for MPH. The only time it popped off was when I forgot to lick it. I run the cord under the seat and out the side by the side cover. I mounted a 12 v outlet under the frame. There is a flat piece of metal right at the swingarm. It was a 12v outlet that HD sells to go in the saddlebags.

Best picture I have at this time:
You can see the mount under the left hand controls. The power is hard wired to the bike, I have it running up with the clutch cable. When the GPS is off, I just wrap it around the ball mount. With the black bars the entire setup disappears without the GPS installed. When it is installed, good view point and easy to reach with my left hand.
When I first got it, I used the U bolt type mount to the bars, real ugly when the GPS is not in use. This is more stealth for daily riding.
