Default Air Wing Front Fender Rail and Loctite Red

I received an air Wing Front Fender Rail for Christmas and the directions stated to use Loctite High Strength Thread Locker on all of the fasteners, and never having to deal with it personally I thought I would ask first. I thought this stuff was essentially permanent so if the shop or myself would have to remove these screws for whatever reason would they come off w/o a lot of heat? Also did they use it at the factory and was wondering if the parts even come off? If they didn't would Loctite Blue work here? Thanks, Mark

I think the blue would be sufficient.

BLUE !

The Red is designed to release after you apply heat (with a propane torch) to it. This is not the sort of stuff you want, or need around your painted parts, wiring or gas tank.

Thanks for the input, I was of the same thought that the Loctite 271 Red was too much but wanted experienced opinions. Much appreciated!

Post a picture after you put it on. I'm thinking about getting one to put on my Daytona Blue Pearl '14 Limited and just haven't made up my mind.

The rail is a nice upgrade for the front fender.
