Question 2016 rdu radio glare

5pm sun behind you that touch screen will annoy the crap out of you with death beam glare. Ride side saddle to avoid or bear it. Anyone use screen protector with anti glare or use a cover? Not like you can use gps with it shinning like that

That's interesting, I test rode one last year and it was the one thing that I really didn't like, so much I'm not sure if I would ever buy one. Lots of threads about the road glides and how great they are, yes they are a great bike but for me having that glare was unacceptable. I'm sure one could work around it or fine a solution. JMO

I got my RGlide at the end of the season last year but didn't get much chance to ride it before the season ended. I've read that this is more of a problem than I've experienced. Certainly never a blinding reflection on it making it hard to read, nothing I've considered a big deal.

So based on reputation I bought the NuShield anti glare screen over the winter. They do make it to fit the a Road Glide. It's now on and there is some difference. Not sure it's huge but when the sun is on it, the screen is more readable. Certainly no glare. Probably worth the $18 bucks or whatever it was.

Well I just ordered one, if it even helps a little it's worth it.
