Default HD Saddlebag LED lights- brake lights not working

I installed these LED lights on my bike but the brake function doesn't work. Running lights and turn signals work but no brake light. Anyone have this problem or a solution to get the brake function working.

Thanks, Steve

Are you sure you followed the correct wiring schematic?

Yes I connected it per the directions for the FLHTCU. After I didn't get a brake light I also moved it to the other connection in the directions as shown, no light at all in that connection.

If your regular brake lamps are coming on and the new LED's are not,I would think you have a LED module defective in the kit.Make sure you did not bend a pin in a connector when you were hooking the wiring up.

I'll check for pins being bent. After reading on another forum it seems like HD may have the wrong
Module in the box.

Thanks

I seem to remember having this problem. Wrong module! They make three different ones, ultra, road glide and street glide, I believe. I had the SG for my Ultra. One would think they would be the same, but I guess not......John

Thanks John, I think you are right. Seems like I need the module # ending with an "A" that comes in the tour pak removal kit. Going to try the "A" version on Tuesday if the dealer has on.
