I like to run around 45 psi. It works well for two up riding and I like the way the bike handles when I'm alone.

I weigh 175. Wife weighs 125.

2015 SG ... 36 lbs tire pressure. 26 lbs in shocks.

Still sharp sometimes on quick bumps.

But not as bad when. I was at 30 lbs in shocks

Consider some good after market shocks. You will be glad you made the change. There are several brands out there but I would recommend Ohlins. It all depends on what your budget allows. The stock air shocks are really lacking in my opinion.

I ride solo, weigh 185, and run the shocks at 20psi, increasing to 25 when loaded with luggage full on a trip. I've learned to run the lowest pressure that still keeps the rear suspension from bottoming, any more and it's sacrificing travel.

Frankly I just follow the manufacturer recommendations. Haven't had any problems yet with the 14 streetglide

It varies greatly - I keep the pump in my saddlebag. It depends on if it's just me, or me loaded down for a trip, or if I have a guest lady on the back (my OL always rides her own bike, but I'm allowed to have somebody ride with me sometimes).

Like ahardcharger, I've had no issues whatsoever with stock shocks. The ride is great to me.

Mine are running about 40 and are sitting on a shelf where they belong.
