Default FLHTK Cigarette Plug

Did Harley upgrade the amp output for the cigarette lighter plug on the Rushmore? Reason I ask is I plug in a gps and iPhone 6+ and have no issues with blown fuses. On my 2010 I'd blow a fuse after a long ride with just the gps. I'd always have spares in the saddlebag.

Cheers

I ran a 12 volt electric tire pump in mine. No problem.

My 09 would run the air compressor I carried in my saddlebag.

You might have had an issue with your 2010.

I never had any issues running powering a GPS with my 2011 Street Glide.

It's no longer a Cigar lighter but a Front Power Outlet
The Cigar Lighter was powered from the 15 A Accessory fuse the Power outlets on a Rushmore are powered by the 20 A P&A Fuse.

Like others said " I think you have a problem with your charger and don't try a Cigar lighter in the Power Outlet"

How are things in Japan?
