Default Detacheable Sissy Bars & Pads

15 RG.
I have the standard height HD detachable sissy bar and I want to switch to the lower short sissy bar.
Do they use the same pads (the ones held on by the triangle)?
Or do I need to replace the pad too?

Thank you

You can use the same pad.
I have the lower sissy bar and now need a standard due to the seat change. I would be happy to swap but my lower s.b is black and will need a standard in black

Same pad fits on all sissy bars. The question is will be bottom of the back rest pad clear the top of the seat once installed.

The pad will clear most seats with short sissy bar. I have upgraded to a Danny Gray airhawk solo with a matching pillion and it sits higher than stock. The short bar was fine for her with stock seat. It still clears the higher seat but she would like a little more support.

Thank you.
My wife likes the taller sissy bar but I hate the way it looks. There's not a lot of difference between the 2 but I'd like the shorter one for looks.
I use the stock seat so I guess it will work either way.
The way I'm thinking I'll use the shorter one most of the time and the longer one for longer rides so she can be more comfortable.
