Kinda confused, read a lot about front ABS bearings and the associated problems. I am replacing my back tire, and thought why not replace the bearings as well. I am having problems trying to find the replacements. I know I need one 9252 and three 9276A.
9252 is listes as Ball Bearing w/ encoder ABS and 9276 A is listed as Ball Bearing ABS, Does anyone have a "kit" with quality bearings.
My bearings feel good, but a little preventative maintainance always helps.
I did check J and P, they have bearings listed for FLHT, FLH 2008-2014 ABS part # 744-457 but when I asked on live chat, they refered me as a dealer only option. Thus my confusion.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

Dealer only for the ABS bearing. You can get the non-ABS bearing from multiple sorces.

 

That is not correct. You can buy aftermarket ABS bearings. Drag Specialities make ABS replacement bearings and I have used both Drag brand and OEM Harley and never had an issue with either. Do a search for Harley #9252 ABS bearing.
