Just rode a 2017 107 StreetGlide
Ok,so here it is, my 2017 StreetGlide 107 review....(Thanks Wilkins Team for letting me try it out!)
Ok, so I go look it over and at first glance the motor looks bigger and sort of retro with the new valve covers. Fit of the bike feels the same. Pull in the clutch and start it up, yup it's VERY different! I would say at idle 50% smoother, more balanced sounding and quiet. As you rev the motor you can hear a slight wine, sorta superchargish.. I think this might have to do with the transmission. Speaking of transmissions, first gear engagement is the smoothest I have ever felt on ANY bike. No clunks, no thumbs, nothing, just a slip into place and done! I had to put it back into neutral just to do it again to make sure it was that smooth. Now on to the riding. From first roll on the bike is a lot smoother. It pulls much harder and doesn't fall off. I did a 4th gear 40mph roll on with another stock 2016 103 and this bike easily pulls off. The one other thing I noticed, engine heat is almost not an issue. Went about 10-12 miles and nothing, not even a warm pants leg. Mind you, this bike has been ridden non-stop by the Wilkins Team and has not been cooled down prior to my ride. Very, very impressive...
Now I want this to be known, I was not expecting any of this and I for one totally had my doubts, but I would, with out question, recommend one to anybody looking for a new bike. If I just didn't get a new bike last year, I would 110% would be buying one tonight! I can't express how amazing this motor feels!
Looking forward to seeing the Stage III numbers soon...

Great review. I went by the dealership in between sales calls just to eyeball the new models. I was offered a test ride but had on the business attire so I declined until Saturday. One thing I noticed is the location of the second spark plug is on top of the head. Now I'm not a professional wrench but how in the heck can you get to that spark plug without lifting the tank? I am anxious to get in the saddle. I'm not buying but its nice to play with new toys.

Excellent first-ride review! Thanks.
I've got a test ride loosely scheduled upon the arrival of the first Limited at a local dealer. Not sure when that'll be and I'm not in the market, anyway, but I'll be interested in what it's like.
Love my '15 Limited WAY too much to consider anything else!

Test rode a limited today. Pretty much the same . Only thing I didn't like was the screws
holding the saddle bags . I would still struggle giving up a great tuned and sounding bike for it. The front suspension is night and day better as was the rear.I did walk away three bikes from my buds stock 103. He just dropped his head in same . Said he gave it all it had and I just ate him up.lol. Took a few to get used to the bat wing again .I think it's a great touring two up bike.

JMC22 hit the nail on the head!!!! I had already copied the text "I would say at idle 50% smoother". What kind of pansy *** is looking for a Harley to idle smoother? GTFO, you're not welcome in the HD world.
