I installed my new Hammock (52000176) seat a couple days ago. While it does fit with the adjustable rider backrest, I was not fussy over the fit. It really pushes forward on the opening and makes the seat hard to install. I did the 1/4" spacer trick, this made it better but I was still not happy with the result and wondered what the long term effect would be on the seat. I decided to take off my adjustable backrest and put my Kuryakyn backrest on. It fits perfect with this seat and has no pressure points that may wear.

 

I purchased the 76033 mustang seat to see if it’s more comfortable then the Hammock seat I bought. I’m just not comfortable on th3 Hammock like I thought I would be.If the mustang seat works out the Hammock will be for sell or trade.

 

What is this 1/4 inch trick you speak of?
