Default Reset navigation?

Shutting down and restarting the bike isn't fixing this issue. I don't use my nav a lot but today I needed it and it failed me. It seems to think I'm about 60 miles east of where I actually am. Would pulling the main fuse reset it?

You got a route running that you need to cancel / end.

If the system is locked up which it will do occasionally, then pulling the master fuse will reset the system. When you turn the bike off the Boombox system does lose all power for 3 or 4 minutes. So wait these few minutes or pulling the main fuse has the same effect. Once In three years my system started to do some really strange stuff, in this case I had to do system resett via the software. If you do a search on this forum, you will find detailed instructions on how to do this. Of course any dealer can do it for you. It is about a 10 minute job once you get the directions.

Thanks. It's not locked up though, it's just really, really confused.

BoomBox 6.5 Reset procedure below:

1. Turn IGN OFF. Wait 15 seconds.

2. Press and hold power/mute button. Turn IGN Switch to ACC position.

3. Continue to press power/mute button for 2 seconds after the WARNING screen is displayed.

4. Release power/mute button and accept warning.

The service menu may display Diag Service not Available when a menu option is initially selected. This message will clear once the system has finished performing the power-on process.

Options are:
*DTCs,
*Audio,
*Display,
*Key input,
*Component menus,
*Version info,
*Reset,
*Touchscreen.

Reset: Pre-calibration reset:
*Restores factory default settings.
*This is recommended when there are radio symptoms and no DTCs

Post calibration save:
*Archives customer’s settings so that they can be restored after a Post calibration Reset.

Post calibration reset:
*Resets the radio to factory default settings and restores the last archive data stored during Post calibration Save.

This is what I would try at this point. It's the only thing that has resolved such weird behavior on my bike.

Thanks guys. Last night I pulled the main fuse and it did not appear to fix it. About an hour later, I went back out to look for routes that I might need to cancel and it was finally showing me back on my own street. I have no idea why it finally fixed itself.

I'll save the reset procedure but I have a question. My bike has been flashed for my amp. Would a reset screw up that flash?
