CVO 4"round vs. 3.5 round. Center baffle has 24 holes, 12 holes in Stock.
Deeper sound no louder and MUCH better looking than stock.

I just installed a set on Saturday. Unscientifically measured the Db difference between stock and CVO mufflers with a Db app on my phone. At idle and at 2500 rpm, the CVOs were 3-4Db louder ...hardly noticable but seemed to have a deeper sound. Put a couple hundred miles on Sunday and had the same impression.

Good question and great answers. I had thought about looking for a pair of CVO slip-on take-offs until I can find something I like better. Still trying to sort my bike out and this might be just the thing.

Get a set and fit fullsac baffles. They work very well with stage 1 set up.

Currently have the rinehart slimline duals exhaust w\4 in rinehart slipons love the sound but just to loud for me, Rinehart doesn't offer a quiter baffle so I am thinking about just removing the slipons and on my cvo mufflers.

The CVO's get louder over time, mine have a very nice tone, I'm not running a cat.
I think they are good for a budget stage 1, I'm happy with the way my bike runs with K&N filter element and Power Vision tuner.

I recently picked up a set of CVO mufflers here on the classifieds that looked like new, the seller said he doubted there were 300 miles on them and I believe it. My bike also has an FM catless header. After installing the headers I could hear the slightly deeper tone. Later three of us A-B'd my bike to my friends stock 2015 RG and we all could hear that mine was slightly louder and deeper, not a lot but noticeable nonetheless.

Mine got louder after break in, even got noticed by the people I ride with.
