Default New 15' Road Glide Build

Just picked up a 15' Road Glide from a Friend in Denver. Wasn't necessarily in the market for another bike but felt like it was a deal I couldn't pass up. The bike is far from perfect but a great platform for a fun build. I have followed other peoples builds for many years and wanted to start my own build thread. I am in no way a mechanic but hoping that I can create a bike that is fun to ride and great to look at. Bare with me.

Here are some pictures of the bike the day I got it. Looks like it has been sitting on a lot somewhere for awhile. Dirty and grimy for sure.

I like the 23" up front but not sure that it fits my riding style or the look I hope to achieve.

Looks great. Good luck with your project! Tn weather has been "perfect" for any kind of bike project.

If you're looking for a different look to fit your riding needs, check into the native custom bagger Pitbull 180. It rides and handles great and truly gives the roadglide a appearance that fits the image.

I have been trying to get some updates going but must not have posted correctly.

The RG has been a work in progress. Here are a few changes that we have completed so far.

Suspension/ Wheels
Ditched the 21" Spoke for a stock enforcer and stock fender.
Legend Revo A's out back with the Legend Axeo up Front

Cosmetic
Road6customs Naked Handlebars 13"
Replaced the Ebay stretched bags with HogWorkz OEM replacements
Fairing Factory Lowers
LongRide Shields Stingray 11"

Motor
Woods 777 Cams
Headwork
PowerVision Tuner
V&H Pro Pipe

I am finishing up the headwork and should have the bike done Thursday. I will get some pictures when I am able.

I know people don't love these threads/ posts but wanted to share. Finished everything up last week and made the ride to Daytona. The bike has come a long way from where it started. I am pretty happy overall. Projects will never stop but I have enjoyed the work.
