Went to Advance Auto Parts they had a small LED light strip worked perfect no problem fitting under tag cover

 

I just bought some cheap black led licence plate bolts from amazon. I wasn't really a fan of their license plate cover/bracket that they provide so I just bent my plate and wired in those lights. Looks good in my opinion.

I have an issue with the tail lights in the fender. I purchased the correct JARZ wiring harness, but when hooked up, the tail lights stayed on as if the brake pedal was pushed and the front turn signals went off.

Talked to JARZ, have seen this issue with the F MOTOS tail lights that come with the fender, advised they have talked to Nasty Hog about this. As of today, JARZ is working on making a wiring harness to resolve, testing over the weekend and I hope to have it next day air on Monday to get my bike back together.

 

how bads the paint did it come damaged ?

 

I just ordered my rear complete kit for a 2012 street glide, but i went with the 2014 bags so they can match up... hope am happy with this buy....will know by friday..

 

not bad and Nasty Hog advised to try to buff out with wet paper towel advising scuff mark from packing material, so will give that a try when I get it back.

I wouldn't use wood (paper towel) to buff paint. That's a pretty bad idea. If your trying to remove a scuff use a compound/polish on a soft cloth or foam pad

 

I will finally get bike back today. Fiasco with the lights and necessary wiring harness. But a big shout out to Nasty Hog (lights, fender, bags) and JARZ Products (wiring harness). Both pulled together to get me what I needed in order to complete the build. Disclaimer: when ordering the CVO tail, be sure and understand which model of the tail lights you are getting before ordering the wiring harness.

JARZ Products just happened to be building and testing a new wiring harness for 2010-2013 bikes for the FMOTOs model lights that came with the fender I purchased. It tested out successfully and I rec'd it next day air.
