Default NastyHog CVO Fender

Anyone purchase and/or install a NastyHog CVO rear end? Fit? Finish? Ease of install?

Funny you ask, my buddy just bought the kit with stretched bags in matt black, the fender is a direct bolt on as is the bags, fender is nice and thick not like some of those thin ones, only issue we came across is attaching the rear seat bolt thingy , the fender is thick so the seat bolt thingy cant be used, then the next issue was when installing on his FLHX we had to trim the bottom back side of the CVO lights to clear the big chrome brackets on each side of the fender as the rectangular opening is not big enough, the finish ir ready for paint with no blemishes, our next challenge is the wiring because in canada we have the centre break light, but bad dad makes a harness that we are going to try

Seems this fender is getting a lot of attention. A buddy is looking at it as well and trying to get some feed back

Did you or your friend take pics of the installation and/or the problem areas?

How as the quality on the stretched bags? Will the matte black match Harley's charcoal denim, or would I need paint?

I'll leave the quality judgements to other members, but the stretched bags are available in Vivid Black, Black Denim, and primer finishes. You would need to have them painted after purchase if you want Charcoal Denim.

The quality was excellent, finish is smooth no rough edges and very strong, all holes lined up perfectly and my friend ordered the matt black since he was painting it crushed ice.
Bags came with new lids but didnt use them since the stock lids fit perfectly and wold save him the painting cost

Since he was installing it on a non CVO bike we had to trim the CVO lights on the back side near the bottom to clear the big chrome bracket that supports the bags, on CVO bikes this bracket is different

We have the canadian bikes so wiring is a little different due to centre brake light, we bought the connectors and made our own

American bikes i think you just get the CVO wirirng and your good to go
