rushmore saddlebag lid organizers
anyone try these yet? across the board I know the Velcro SUCKS on any brand and that's why before install they will get 3m super trim tape
its what I had to do with my switchback organizers and has worked for past couple years..
I only really need them on one lid for a few small items I carry with me everywhere

I don't think anyone makes them for the rushmore saddle bags, those say up to 2013. I wish they did, I took my old ones and just layed them in the bottom of one of my bags since the old style will not the lids. If you do buy them and get them to work on the new style bags I would like to see a picture of them..

No experience with those but I did add a Kuryakyn lid organizer to the lid of my tourpack. Using the velcro that came with it and after 4 days it is still holding well. I did notice that on the instructions it said after the velcro was attached to leave the organizer off for 24 hours to allow the adhesive to cure. I followed that and so far so good. Figured if it fails to hold then I will go to a better 3M tape

as soon as the weather gets warm and the sun beats on the tops was when I had the issues with my switchback bags.. heats up the glue and they dropped down which is why I ended up with the 3m super trim tape.. no problems since
hopefully yours will stay

I looked at a few different manufacturers of this style my issue with these is any items put in there can bounce around in that space between compartment and the bag lid

Good to know, with summertime temp here that hit 100 I can see that being an issue. Did you get that 3M tape at an auto or hardware store or is it easier sourced online
