Default La Chopper Twin Peaks vs. Paul Yaffee Monkey bars

I'm in the market for 10 inch bagger bars for my 2014 Ultra Limited. I like the angles of the Paul Yaffee Monkey Bars but for half the price I'm starting to look at the LA Choppers Twin Peaks. Can I get opinions on both these bars from folks that have them. pics would be nice too! I plan on doing the install myself after watching "Ride it Wrench it" video several times.

I also found it odd that Amazon and revzilla show that the Paul Yaffee bars don't fit my bike but I've seen pics of these bars on my bike so not sure

Thanks

Have you gone onto Bagger Nation to check for fitment. I am sure they do.

Get what you like the look of the most IMO. After all, at a minimum you'll only be looking at them every time you ride!

Tons of great pics in this thread: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...-the-apes.html

Thanks, I've checked their site and they say they fit. Plan to call them next week to confirm.

I'm very happy with my KST Mayhem bars, have you considered them? Similar design too what your looking at...$225.

If you like the looks of Paul Yaffee Monkey Bars look at the LA Choppers Prime apes they have the same shape and look for around the same price as the twin peaks

I had been running 13" LA Choppers Twin Peaks for about a year or so and they were great bars.

The stock cables & lines worked perfectly and I was very happy with the setup.

Then I wished I would have done 16" apes from the get go, so I went and pulled the trigger on these new 16" apes.

These bars for me are spot on perfect in every way.
I also switched to black steel cables and extended new lines.

Here they are mounted on my sled.

I have 10" monkey bars and love them. It took two sets to get it right. The throttle grip wouldn't stay engaged with the twist grip sensor on the first set. It's my understanding that the Rushmore bikes have wider control housings therefore the bars need to be longer where they step down.
