Default 14" Yaffee Monkey Bars with heated grips

I am looking to do 14" Yaffee Monkey bars on my 2014 street glide and would like to do heated grips. Has anyone done it, is it possible to run the wires internally?

Screw the heated grips and get heated gloves - they will keep your hands warmer

I have done it on both my current bikes. My 13 CVO King has the heated grips from a 13 CVO Limited. My 17 CVO Street Glide has Heated grips from a 17 CVO Limited, Both have Yaffe 14" Monkey bars internally wired.

These are 12" with heated grips. I found it much easier to strip the sheathing off all the wires so I could pull the switch and both heated grips wires. New heated grips come with an 8" extention. I didn't have to use it, so you might need to extend it. I had to get switch extentions for my RK

Does Harley sell the extensions?

I don't think know, mine came with my Chrome and Rubber heated grips. It has a white plastic connector one each end, male and female. It would plug into the center of your heated grip and the main grip connector plug into that. if you need one, I will sell you mine I didn't need for $10 shipped. Here is a tip. The power wire runs out the side of the left grip, if you are going to hide the wires, I ran mine through the switch covers but you will need to notch one or both sides to allow for the wire, then they go under the switch housing and into the bars.
