Well, I'm tooling around central CA this week, and, as it has to many, my shifter stripped, again 2nd time in 15k. Never happened on my softail deluxe or street glide even after 74k.

Anyway, was at Ventura HD getting it fixed when I saw a black RG in the service shop with the chrome piece on it waiting for its owner. They happened to have one in stock, so I debugged the headlight and stuck it on.

I really like it against the black quartz and with the chrome front end.

The black will look great on your bike. Love the amber whiskey. Would have been the one I got, but they were none around when I was buying. Great looking bike.

 

I special ordered mine, but I have only seen one other at Mathews Harley the day I picked mine up. Love the Amber Whiskey especially when it is clean.

 

Got my black trim in today from Harley and got it installed. Definitely liking the black over the chrome. Need to get a picture outside.
