I had the same choice struggle. Split the difference and went with Raw Stainless.

My 1st new bike..back in 1980 I put a black header on it.
10 new bikes later all got black pipes, once you go black
you can't go back.

Not cheap, but you get a lot. Bottom line, my bike looks, sounds and runs much better.

I was originally just going to do cams, but then I saw this package and thought, why not go all in while I have the exhaust off anyway. Even the packaging was excellent, keeping everything protected and secure (except the carbon fiber Drak cover, which comes in a plastic sleeve within a nice box. Didn't realize the sleeve was open on both ends...picked up one end and it fell out the other. No biggie, it didn't break and no damage done...more of a user error).

It's been fun auto tuning with the FP3 on my cell phone and I'm very happy with the whole package. Couple little goodies you can only get with the package too, like carbon fiber tips and V&H timing cover.

- Oversized 450 Slip-ons (Chrome) with Carbon Fiber End Caps.
- Carbon Fiber VO2 Air Intake Kit
- Fuelpak FP3 with Raceshop Mapping
- Power Dual Head Pipes (Chrome)
- 575 Camshaft Set
- Adjustable Pushrods
- Vance & Hines Inscribed Chrome Timing Cover

I guess I am too. I love black and chrome. I also need to get a quick detach kit for my tour pak.

Check out the dude with the gas can. He's like: "Don't get me in the pic I'm on work comp!"

I agree with a mix.

A few more item for powder coat over next winter, but the pipes and engine pieces will stay chrome.
