Default Shout out to Long Ride Shields (LRS)

Just got my new LRS windshield yesterday. Mounted it Last night and just got back from my first ride with it. All I can say is wow, what a difference!!!! I have a 2014 Streetglide, and installed a HD 10" wind splitter about a month after I bought the bike in Nov 2013. The wind splitter did an OK job, but always rattled from day one, no matter how I torqued the bolts. I even added some gorilla tape to the bottom edge. But never got it to quit rattleing/vibrating. (I think because the plastic is thinner than the stock windshield.

I bought the LRS Ultra 2014 8 inch shield and have way better wind protection than the HD 10 inch wind splitter shield.

That's all... Just wanted to say if your looking for a new wind shield, consider looking at the Long Ride Shields. Good product at a great price!!

P.S. It may seem like it but I don't work for, or am not associated with the LRS company.

Yep, big difference for sure. Mounted an 11" on my RGS. I would have needed a 12 or 13" if I stayed with the stock seat but the C&C Solo sits me down and back. The 11" is perfect height and now shoots the jet stream over my head rather that directly into my eyes and forehead like the stock shield did (vents open or closed didn't make a damn difference).

I have a 7" LRS ultra on my 14 SG and love it as well. I've cleaned it countless times and not a scratch or swirl on it either, high quality windshield.
