Would you make this trade?

WHY LET THE DEALER HAVE THEM FOR THAT PRICE, Hell Tour Packs sell on here all day long for 700, maybe more if it's already the color someone wants. And the lowers if they are HD not knock offs, would bring 200.00 easy,,
OP, what sound system is he swapping out? Do you have the stock stuff still? Do that yourself, save the 1,000 bucks for it, reinstall on the new bike,, sweat equity man, sweat equity

I walked away right after I posted this and did some more rational discussion with myself. Came to the same conclusion that most of you guys did too.
I'd rather keep riding this bike (it does everything I need it to do) and worry about my next bike when it's time really time. I can always repaint a bike.
$8,000 is just a bit too steep.

I realize no one can decide for me.......maybe just need a little swaying one way or the other.
My bike: 2015 RGS 20,000 miles. Mine has Tour Pack and lowers.
Dealer: 2016 RGU New
$8000 to boot. That includes $1000 in labor to swap over sound system, mufflers, etc.
I could of course do this myself as well
If I take of TP and lowers, $8700.
Would you? Gets me a bike in the color I want (don't really care for my superior blue), New and another two years of warranty. I was planning on an ESP for 2015 for $1400 as well. So I could justify that into my savings as well.

Btw, how many additional years of coverage on that ESP are you getting for $1400?
